The "correfoc" is a traditional game and show from Valencia, the Balearic Islands and Catalonia. The members of these clubs carry pyrotechnics traditionally disguised as devils, the spectators are part of the party fleeing or dancing with the devils in the streets.

The current festival has its roots in the 12th century celebration called "Ball de diables". The term "Correfoc" includes the actions of all possible groups (colles) of this type of event.
