We all know the Neapolitan actor Bud Spencer, but maybe you do not know that besides being an actor, he was a producer, singer and composer. He was also an Olympic swimmer and professional water polo player.
But who is Brutus? Originally this character appears on the strips with the name of Bluto. Initially this character was designed to be the villain for a single chapter of his series Thimble Theater. But the antithesis of Popeye, this bearded character was very well received. When Fleischer Studios in 1993 develops the first cartoon series of Popeye where Bluto (later Brutus) is the main enemy of the sailor.
